Heavy loads can make your rear end sag, raising the front and throwing off your steering and braking. Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs add up to 1,000 lbs of load-leveling capacity to keep your vehicle steady and balanced. Fitting inside your existing coil springs, they help maintain level ride height, reduce tire wear, and keep handling predictable when towing or hauling. With added cushion from the air springs, braking stays firm and steering stays controlled even under load.
Every haul is different, and these springs let you dial in the support you need. With manual inflation valves for each side, air pressure can be adjusted from 5 psi to 60 psi to match your current load or road conditions. Add more air for heavy loads to level out the rear or lower it when empty for a softer, smoother ride. You can even balance off-center loads by adjusting each side separately for better stability and control.

When rough roads or heavy cargo push your suspension to its limits, the polyurethane air springs take up the hit before it reaches the frame. They absorb shock between axle and chassis to cut down on harsh bumps and prevent bottoming out. The result is a smoother ride that keeps your truck from bouncing and swaying over uneven or adverse road conditions.
These Coil-Rite springs are made from elastic polyurethane built to handle repeated compression without losing shape or performance. They deliver long-term stability and comfort without cracking or leaking under normal use. Each kit includes brackets, air line, hardware, and separate valves for manual inflation—everything needed to get it installed and working right away.

Doesn’t quite lift up as I expected it to but does make the springs stiffer
Great quality product, although for install I had to pull the springs on my diesel gladiator to get the airbags installed.
The kit was exactly as described. But the bags were very hard to slide in it was way easier to remove than sping and slide the bag in from the top
Much improvement for towing and hauling heavy loads in the bed. 2021 Jeep Gladiator and NuCamp T@B 400 Boondock teardrop trailer.
Good product, good price, good service
Great quality product. These will help sag when towing a trailer. They will also increase the ride harshness slightly.
Fantastic product! Raised my Gladiator almost 2" in the rear. Purchased these bags because of the drawer system, bed rack, and RTT in the bed caused the rear of the Gladdy to be 1.25" lower than the front. Now the Gladdy sits like a "normal" truck with the rear slightly higher than the front. Ride is noticeably better! Painful to install but worth it!
Great product! Installation was a bit tricky. Using spry on soapy water helps. The bags have been very durable and very reliable holding air at 35psi. I have them installed on my Jeep Gladiatorfor a year and no issues to report. No sagging when towing my 20’ camper trailer. I am very pleased with this product.
They want a review 12 hours after delivery :-(
On a 40 degree day I had to drop the shocks and swapbar connections and then jack down the axle housing and remove the springs and drop the bags in from the top. The bags are just to solid, even after warming them up inside the house, to go thru the side of the spring. It doesn't take all that much longer to remove the springs. You just have to be aware of more ways that hoses, cables, and such could be hurt.
The ride is stiffer, even at 5# of air. Measuring rearend sag they should be able to deal with the load my trailer tongue when aired up to 60#
I would have waited and done a better review but they couldn't wait to bug me for comments
So I will start with the good, good quality and well built. The bad was the install, in the video they claim you can deflate and slide thru coil springs, maybe if you have a lift and can walk under this is possible. If you are doing these in your garage with vehicle on jacks, forget about it!!! Ended up dropping the springs out and inserting bags, that was the ONLY way I can get them to fit. Does what they are designed for and feels like they will last.
Works great!
the air bags are well built, and will last a lot of years,to install i removed both springs on my jeep gladiator, fixed sag when pulling 4000lb boat
Great product and works perfect on my Jeep Gladiator. The instaletion video was nice to watch although is very much the harder way to install the air bags. Much easier to remove the outer sway bar bolts and the shoch bolts, raise the frame and drop the bag down through the top of the removed spring. Just be sure to align the factory top spring pad correctly when raising the axle back in place. This also made it a lot easier to install the air line. It took me about one hour this way for the complete job and never folded the bag to force it through the spring.

I have been towing my trailer to some fun locations on some not so friendly roads. The air bags are working perfectly. I bring an air compressor with me so I can deflate to low pressure when not towing and fill the airbags up when needed.
Price was very good and shipping was unbelievably fast .it arrived so fast I didn't need too track it .excellent service.
Still working
Seems to work well. Was a bit challenging to install, watch as many videos as possible. Got them in and 30 lbs. air, back-end sag is gone.
The air springs have worked great. Really helped in being able to pull my Jumping Jack trailer safely. Great product!!
Poorly designed for installation. If you want to fight for a few hours getting them in, be my guest. I like to buy parts that fit, not have to struggle with them. Notice during the install video at ET, they cut .. and miraculously the bags are in when they re-convene. I suspect they cut the video for some cussing time. And I really don't like spending an hour trying to thread a valve onto a bag, up inside of a coil spring that I cannot see. They do come with push-in fittings to make the other connections solid, but I would never purchase these again. Never.
Super easy one person install on 2020 Jeep Gladiator. tip: drop the shocks at the lower mounting point and drop the sway bar links where they attach to the frame, springs slide right out making this MUCH easier. Great service and fast shipping keep us coming back to etrailer again and again, All it takes is 30-40 lbs of air via a single valve stem thanks to purchasing the T fitting. We are ready to crawl! Trailer pictured is 4000lbs + loaded. Sitting very well thanks to this Firestone bag kit! Thanks again etrailer!
The product performs excellently. I know this because i had a set of Firestone airbags on my 2020 Jeep Gladiator. Installation is another story all together. The directions included in the box are pathetic. They fail to describe the wrestling match involved in stuffing the bag into the interior of the coil spring. I resorted to jacking up the rear of the 2021 Jeep Gladiator to elongate the spring thus providing more space between the coils to push the deflated airbag material. Once the bag is inside you then must remove the valve stem and install the fitting and the air line. It is possible to achieve installation but I warn you the Job is not for weaklings. I recommend hiring a professional technician for installation.
After installing the airbags i logged into the etrailer site and watched Daniel on the video provided. One thing that he did that I did not do, he inserted the bag in so that the bottom went into place first then he worked the top half into place. However he did not show his full wrestling match! I rate the install as VERY difficult.
The Firestone airbags are very well made and has quality feel. It was not very warm in MN when I installed them so I needed to use lubrication and a heat gun to warm the airbags from a distance so the airbags would be pliable. My gladiator has a Decked drawer system and rear steel bumper installed which caused the rear to squat more than the front. After installing these airbags and learning that I was fluent in “FRENCH” the rear of the truck was raised and squatting issues addressed. The drive was improved as well, less body roll around curves.

Ah, such a helpful language that "FRENCH" is. I use it quite often with installations.
Great upgrade for carrying weight in the back or towing a trailer. They are a bit tough to install. I found twisting the bag over in the middle and inserting it between the spring to the trick. Insert the top side on the passenger bag first. Insert the bottom side first on the driver side take care with the week ass tubing because if it folds over on itself in a coil, it will remain pinched which I can see will cause problems in the future. The tubing was better 20 years ago than what they give you today. One tube replacement over $30!! Ridiculous !! I like the right height adjustability and my truck feels more stable with a load of weight in the back of my truck advertised in the video shown below.

Still working great even with the twists, I haven’t had any leaks. I did pick up some quick fittings if I did need to repair. I’m really surprised with hot summers and cold frozen winter weather use with no need for repairs.
These were just as described as far as quality and look. The installation of them were a little more difficult than they show in the video but can easily be done by someone with basic skills. I would recommend if you have the ability to remove the springs and then just insert the bags that way as I couldn’t get one in without doing that. Otherwise the install is pretty straightforward. Haven’t used them with a load or towing yet but hopefully they will work as designed.

Thanks for posting the photos and for sharing what all you had to do to get them to work! It's what makes your review especially valuable to other readers. Thanks, Daeton
These bags along with minor adjustments to my load leveling hitch made towing my 19.4 No Bo trailer so much more relaxing!I am running 20 PSI and 3/4 of an inch higher than stock ride hight. Easy peasy

That's an awesome shot, Jefferey! Where were you camping at?
Well I did not expect to have a one year follow up from ETrailer! I’m a 5 Star happy with these airbags over the AirLift 1000’s I had that blew out just after the warranty was up! These bags are more than twice the product, as you can inflate to >60 psi and that makes for a way more steady ride with weight! I typically run mine at around 45 psi now, the AirLift are limited to 28 psi. The construction is far superior and quality is excellent!!!

Really cool to hear how well the airbags have been working out for you, especially hearing your experience in the past. How's the ride day-to-day when you're not hauling that awesome camper?

Other than a slight leak in the driver’s side that is not any fault of the product, this set up has worked extremely well! I’m very happy with these air bags and would highly recommend them over the AirLift1000 bags as there’s no comparison in quality! These Ride Rite bags are worth every penny!!!

Unfortunately, there must have been a small leak in the line, and they deflated, and then they twisted inside the springs kinking the lines. Is there any way to prevent the bags from twisting?
